Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular Returns to Roger Williams Park Zoo

This is one of our favorite Halloween events here on the SouthCoast. Here are the details of this year's Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular. 

The Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular will be ready to dazzle starting on Thursday, October 4. The event will then run from October 4 - November 4. This year, there will be 5,000 carved pumpkins featuring your favorite fairy tales, historical figures, and so many more crazy impressive designs.

This year, there will also be a few special theme nights:

Fairytale nights at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular (Oct. 10 & 11)
Wizarding nights at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular (Oct. 17 & 18)
Superhero nights at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular (Oct. 24 & 25)

If you've been in years past, you may have heard complaints about the lines and wait time to get into the event. Now, the event has a new timed entry-system and "off" nights, like weekdays, are typically much less crowded than the weekends. On-site parking is available, but keep in mind that once the lots are full, you will have to park along the road near Roger Williams Park Zoo.

KEEP IN MIND tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are sold ONLINE ONLY and use a timed-entry system. Tickets for Monday-Thursday nights may be purchased online or day of at the event.
