Is Snapchat An App For Everyone?

Snapchat was released in September 2011 and I even though I'm pretty late to the party just getting on board with it about a month or so ago, I really like it!

Basically it's a unique blend of image and text that lets the users interact in ways they've never done before. All you do is take a picture or video of anything you please, a selfie, picture of your pet, funny sign, anything!  After that you have some options such as adding text, being able to color over the image, or even adding some filters to your photos. From there, you can set a timer from one to ten seconds, this indicates how long the viewer gets to see the image. After that time is up, POOF its gone forever!  Well, that is unless the other person saved it as a screen shot.

I've been having so much fun with Snapchat since I've had it. But I've been realizing something about it.  I'm pretty sure I'm the oldest person I know using it!  Is Snapchat one of those things that is for younger people and no one told me?  Everyone on my Snapchat is under 25...I kind of feel like I'm 'that girl' that still has MySpace cause she doesn't realize it's not cool anymore.  Like hello!  MySpace is SO 2007!  I asked Michael and Larry what they thought of the app and they didn't even know what it was.  That made me realize even more that Snapchat is for the younger folk!  What do you think?  Is Snapchat for anyone and everyone that feels like using it, or am I being that creepy chick that doesn't know she doesn't belong using a Snapchat?  Silly Rabbit!  Snapchat is for kids!
