Apple just doesn't ever pump the brakes. Behold, yet the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus to hit storefronts today. People spent the night camping outside of Apple stores to try to get a hold of this precious, limited merchandise.

Rumors for the new iPhone and its specs/improvements circulated for a few months until Apple finally unveiled some concrete details last week about the 6 and 6 Plus and their release dates. According to ABC News, the devices are so popular that they broke pre-sale records of the past. More than 4 million preorders were made when they went on sale just a week ago.

You can expect to wait on grabbing an iPhone 6 for weeks if not months if you missed out on the pre-sale and decided to sleep in this morning. Mobile carriers aren't promising to deliver the mobile phones until October.

The largest advance between the iPhone 6 and older versions of the phone is its screen enlargement. Closely mirroring the size of a Samsung Galaxy, the iPhone 6 is just under its size at 6.9 mm, while the iPhone 6 Plus is just larger than the Galaxy at 7.1 mm.

The iPhone 6 starts at $199 for 16GB, $299 for 64GB and $399 for 128GB with a two year contract. The iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 for 16GB, $399 for 64GB and $499 for 128 GB with a two year contract. You don't want to know the prices without contract. Both phones are available in silver, gold and space grey.

Those who waited in line today and got their new devices may have been better off waiting. I've heard from friends and media in the past that there's usually a lot of kinks and bugs to be worked out with the first wave of hardware that hits the market. We'll see what's to come with the iPhone 6 in these next couple of weeks.
