2017 International Portuguese Music Awards Return To The Z

The official 2017 Awards Show will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center, New Bedford MA.

The Portuguese Music Awards is coming to the Z! The 5th Annual International Portuguese Music Awards will once again be co-hosted by local Portuguese TV personality, Ricardo Farias, and Portugal TV personality, Catia Aldeagas. A Gala/ Red Carpet Event will be held the night before (April 21, 2017) at the Cultural Center located in Fall River, MA.

IPMA recognizes outstanding achievement in the music industry by international artists of Portuguese ancestry.

The 2017 IPMA will feature the following performers:

Daniela Mercury(Brazil) – Latin Grammy award-winning superstar with over 20 million records sold and the most number one hits by any Brazilian female singer ever.
Arlindo Andrade (USA) – Luso-American singer from Hudson, Massachusetts, who has toured the world and known for such hits as “Olá Transmontana”
Olavo Bilac (Portugal) – Lead singer of the legendary Portuguese rock band Santos & Pecadores.
Marc Dennis (USA) – Luso-American singer from Fall River, Massachusetts, with 14 albums recorded and known for such hits as “Superman”.
Mariana Rocha (Portugal) – 19-year old Azorean-based artist who came in 2nd place on Portugal’s first edition of “The X Factor” in 2014.
Tyler & Ryan (USA) – Pop/country duo from Rhode Island with over 60,000 subscribers and 8 million views on YouTube.
