Keep taking pictures of everything in your life and then watch Instagram sell the pics as if they own it. Yes, you heard me right.

The popular social networking site’s new policy, Facebook and Instagram claims the perpetual right to sell your Instagram photos to companies and organizations that want your photos for their advertising. The problem to some is, you will never see a cent for those pictures.

This change will immediately transform the Instagram site into the world’s largest stock photo agency. In the fall, Facebook closed a deal with Instagram worth about $300 million to $470 million after acquiring the company in April. The new terms allow the company to share photos across both platforms. The changes go into effect Jan. 16 unless you delete your account. Once your account is deleted, there is no reactivating it unless you create a new username.

Tons of Instagram users took to Twitter this morning with some calling the change an invasion of privacy and swearing to close their accounts. What are you gonna do, keep it or delete it?
