‘Iggy’ Is Missing In Westport After Car Crash

A local dog by the name of "Iggy" fled from one of the cars involved in an accident on Highland Avenue in Westport.

As emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the crash, Iggy ran out the door and got loose. He ran south on the Dartmouth/Westport line towards Route 6 around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb, 19.

Iggy is a hound breed with light brown fur and black streaks, wearing a bright yellow training collar. The dog is medium sized weighing approximately 50 pounds.

The dog was last spotted around DBS (Dartmouth Building Supply) on Reed Road around 5 p.m. on Feb. 20.
