The regular season is meaningless for the New England Patriots.

It means absolutely NOTHING. I pretty much told anyone that would listen before the season started that I wasn't going to waste my time rooting for the Pats this season. I wasn't going to try and act like it was some wild ride when I've seen this movie so many times before. I watched zero Patriots games this regular season. Now, this isn't because I don't want them to win. It's because it's a waste of my time.

Think about it: this season was less dominant than most and still here we are in the Super Bowl. Deep down, we all knew this was where it would end up again. It's Tom's ninth Super Bowl appearance. Almost half the seasons he's been in the NFL, he's gone to the Super Bowl. That's INSANE. I decided at the beginning of the year I was going to root for another team to make the Super Bowl, because I already knew that team would have to face Tom in the end.

He's basically the boss at the end of every great video game. If you want to finish the game you must beat Tom Brady. It's ridiculous.

You all got sucked into thinking this was a different season. Maybe they weren't good enough. Maybe they didn't have the weapons. Well, here we are again. You all hated me when I said it earlier in the year, but I was right all along. There's no point in wasting your time on the Patriots' regular season. Just wait until the playoffs. That's when the real games happen.
