Much of the Southcoast was without power 24 years ago today...assessing the damage from the bully Hurricane Bob.

Fun 107 was knocked off the air and stayed off the air for days after Hurricane Bob.  The storm grew in intensity before slamming into the Southcoast as a category 3 hurricane on August 19th, 1991.   Over one billion dollars in damage was done to Massachusetts...mostly from flooding here on the Southcoast with storms surges up to 5.8 feet.

Over half a million people went days without power, including all of Cape Cod, and the damage was unforgettable in our area.

We know Fun 107 fans have some pretty wild pictures of Hurricane Bob.  Tweet them to #HURRICANEBOB107
