A New Bedford delivery man was robbed at gunpoint...but just for the food he was delivering.

A delivery man for the Wok and Roll restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Thursday

a man approached him, took out a black handgun and told him he was being robbed

night in the area of Holly and North Front Streets and police say only the food he was delivering was taken.

The Standard Times reports that the delivery man was not injured in the incident. He told police he was simply sitting in his car about to make a delivery when a man approached him, took out a black handgun and told him he was being robbed.

The robber then took the food and fled on foot.

The victim told police the suspect was wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt and appeared to have a tattoo resembling a cross on his forehead.
