When it comes to shaping one's face, eyebrow play a huge part.

I always say, the most important part of makeup is highlighted and shaped eyebrows. They change everything. I only started highlighting my eyebrows a few years ago, and wow, what a difference!

I look at photos of myself with makeup on but nothing done to my eyebrows and it makes such a difference. Even if I only have time to apply one bit of makeup, I skip everything else and just do my eyebrows. It's that important.

So, if you're wondering, how does one highlight and shape their eyebrows to make them stand out and frame their face? Well, I'll tell you!

1. Add a bit of conditioner. Things that would work are serums, lotions or organic oils like jojoba oil. My favorite is organic virgin coconut oil. This will help keep your brows looking healthy and full.

2. Tweeze strays. This instantly cleans up your face a bit without spending a ton of time re-shaping your brows all together. You'll be less puffy and red too if you're just going after a few of those strays. Trimming any extra-long hairs can help your brows to look neater too. But don't be like me and use any old pair of scissors that you find around the house. Try to use scissors specifically for grooming. You're less likely to mess up with the right tools.

3. Brush them. Just like you brush your hair to make it look nice, you also want to brush your brows. Don't use a hairbrush, that won't work, just a small eyebrow brush is more what you're looking for here. They can be found at any drugstore or any store that sells makeup.

4. Fill them in. This is certainly the most important part. Filling in your brows absolutely completes your look and frames your face. You want to pick a brow pencil that's two shades lighter than your hair color if you're a brunette, or two shades darker if you're a blonde. Brow gel is great too, to help hold those brows in place all day.

There you have it. Hope this helps you get amazing eyebrows!
