My name is Kasey. I don't exactly have a round or angular face shape, but somewhere in between. Here goes nothing.

According to The Guardian, there's a theory that suggests your face shape and name have an impact on how 'likable' others perceive you. It has to do with the human tendency to see certain names/words as round or angular. "A new study conducted at the University of Otago in New Zealand demonstrated not only that this effect extends to people’s names, but that people whose name “roundness” matches their face roundness are perceived as more likable; presumably because we are drawn to people who confirm, rather than challenge, our stereotypes." Sounds weird, but I can't help myself. I have to try out this formula.

First, decide your face shape and give yourself the appropriate amount of points:
Angular = 3 points
Round = 1 point
In-between = 2 points (Me)

Second, score the vowels in your name according to this system:
A = 2
E = 3
I = 3
O = 1
U = 1

My name is K-A-S-E-Y, so I gave myself a 2 and a 3. I now have to take the average of the two. 2 + 3 = 5, 5 ÷ 2 = 2.5

"Calculate the difference between your face-score and your name-score by subtracting whichever is smaller from whichever is larger." So if I subtract the 2 (face score) from the 2.5 (name score), I'm left with a 0.5.

On a 0 - 2 scale, the lower the number means you are more likable. Apparently I could be just about everyone's cup of tea. Yay me!
