Then we got in the chair - DISASTER! Crying, kicking, trying to get out the chair, you name it. As much patients as I have, it was very difficult to remain that way, but I did...What i didn't do was lose my temper, or get overly upset.

But, what about next time? Does ANYONE have any tricks to making the dentist a better experience for a 4 year old? The part that we really get stuck with is when they go to put that florid stuff on her teeth. THAT'S where we lose all control. HELP!
