It's a question all impending parents get asked. "Are you going to find out what you're having?" And while most do, many may not do it the way Carrie Underwood did.

Carrie told ABC News that she and her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, both kind of knew what they were expecting. But every time they were at the doctor's office for an ultrasound, they did not want to see what the baby in fact was.

Instead the couple had their doctor write the gender of their baby on a piece of paper and seal it up in an envelope. That night the pair went out for a nice dinner and while they were alone at the table, opened the envelope and made discovering they were having a baby boy a much more private and intimate moment for the two of them.

I kind of love the way these two chose to do this! I've never heard of any one else going about it like that and I'm pretty sure if I hadn't read about Underwood doing it, I never would have thought of it myself.

So has anyone else found out the gender of their baby this way? Or another way outside of the doctor's office?
