Commuters got quite the shock Tuesday morning when a hot air balloon had to make an emergency landing in an MBTA parking lot.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority police said the balloon was trying to land in an open field on Tufts' campus, but a strong wind gust knocked it off course Tuesday morning forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing in Grafton's MBTA parking lot.

Six passengers were in the hot air balloon as it came down, but no injuries were reported. However several cars in the lot were damaged by the massive balloon owned by Damn Yankees Balloons.

The incident is still under investigation.
