We had the pleasure of meeting Joseilyn and her two young children who are struggling to make ends meet despite working three jobs.

Joseilyn and her husband are working extremely hard to build a wonderful life for their family. However, Joseilyn found herself living in a shelter when she was pregnant with her now two-year-old son. Her and her children lived in the shelter until the past year when they were able to transition into an apartment.

While they were able to secure furniture for their new place, Joseilyn and her husband, who recently graduated barber school and is building a career for himself, are still struggling to make ends meet and provide their kids with Christmas gifts and new clothes. Joseilyn works two jobs as bank teller and CNA and between the two parents, there is only one car which makes transportation tough.

The two children are thriving in school but because of their schedules with work, it's rare that all four members of the family are ever home together.

Basic Needs:

2 y-o boy: size 3T, 8.5 shoe - loves cars, blocks, dinosaurs and monsters

4 y-o girl: size 4T, 8.5 shoe - loves ballet, Legos, books, dancing and scooters.

Both the kids love school and would love to get new backpacks and school supplies!
