Holiday Wish: Gonzalez Family Update [VIDEO]

We wanted to get 4-year-old Illiana dance lessons...and we did!

If you were listening this morning, you heard us gushing about Joseilyn Gonzalez and her two children, Illiana and Zachary. We met with them on Monday and learned that both parents were working multiple jobs to make ends meet and the kids were in need of some new clothes and toys for Christmas.

After reaching out to our listeners and hearing from some local businesses, we were able to help the Gonzalez family immensely!

Nate Lions donated a new washer / dryer to the family so they don't have make any more trips to the launder mat, The Inspired Bath donated $250, Gold and Carat donated $250 and the proceeds from an event they are holding in their Dartmouth store, Dance Xtreme in New Bedford donated brand new ballet shoes and dance lessons for Illiana and JC Penney in Dartmouth gift a $200 shopping spree for the kids.

Our listeners generously donated a new bike for Illiana (one of her wishes!), a ride-on Powerwheel for both children (another wish!) and lots of brand new toys and clothes for both.
