Hocus Pocus Sequel Could Be In The Immediate Future

And we all are extremely excited for that!

Rumors have been spreading that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katy Najimy are all looking forward to a sequel to the 90s popular halloween movie. Bette Midler said in a Reddit forum that she was speaking to her co-stars about creating a sequel for Hocus Pocus and apparently, they're all in!

According to Buzzfeed, Bette Midler has responded to the fans enthusiasm for a sequel to the beloved movie saying in her forum, “Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company. You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!”

Katy Nijamy also responded to Buzzfeed news about having read Bette's quote about putting together a sequel and responded with, "The outpouring of love from Hocus-ites has been astounding. The creativity of their Sanderson sisters costumes, posters, artwork, t-shirts, statues, TV stills, photos, compliments and line quotes have blown up social media and I want them to know…We see and appreciate it all...A sequel is totally in The Disney company’s hands — And it will be exciting to see what transpires!".

Sarah Jessica Parker was asked to comment on whether she is willing to return to the franchise and added a simple, "I'm in".

Now it's just up to all the fans of Hocus Pocus to bombard the Disney office with messages of wanting to start the sequel. I say give it a few years and we might see another great Halloween movie coming out!
