Try this quick loop trail on Wachusett Mountain in Princeton Ma for a fun and easy fall hike. The trail is only 2.7 miles round trip and will take you through beautiful scenic trails. Very kid-friendly by the way. It's a great place to take the whole family this fall.
Another awesome family hiking spot is Monument Mountain Trail, Monument Mountain in Great Barrington. This is a lovely 2.8-mile loop trail offers really pretty views of the Housatonic River Valley and the southern Berkshires. You’ll have a few steep spots, but most of the trail are more scenic than challenging. You'll love the fresh air, views and time alone outside.
