Helicopter Near The Station Gets Staff Excited [PHOTO]

Just moments ago there was a helicopter hovering in the air across from the station. Of course we all came to the windows wondering what was going on, so did we get exciting news?

At first our news team at WBSM told us about a local robbery and we all thought, they must be using that helicopter to search for a suspect...how exciting!

Turns out that was not the case and that is why we shouldn't let our minds wander before the serious folks on the news side of things can get us the real scoop.

Within seconds we were straightened out and informed that the helicopter was with NSTAR and was hovering over the power lines to check them out for any damage. Not nearly as exciting, but nice to know the power companies working to keep the lights on.
