The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Eastern Massachusetts with temperatures expected to be well into the 90's and a humidity level that will make it feel even hotter.   The advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. for Bristol and Plymouth Counties.

The weather service says when the temperature hits the low 90 to mid 90's, it will feel like it is over 100 degrees.    Health and emergency management officials warn people who work or spend long periods of time outside to take precautions, including drinking plenty of non-alcoholic fluids.  People are also urged to take frequent breaks in the shade or in air-conditioned places if possible.   Take your sunscreen and head for the beach.
