Gronk Talks About What He’s Looking For In A Wife

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski recently had an appearance on Showtime's Jim Rome show, where he was asked about his 'ideal wife'.

Keep in mind, Gronk is only 25 years old and he's making millions of dollars playing football, he might not be quite ready to 'settle down'. I know when I was 25, what I wanted in an 'ideal husband' was quite different than what I wanted when I was 30.

Bearing that in mind, Gronk went on to give a very superficial response: "You really want me to describe? Cleans, cooks, makes big cash, stays at home, lets me do whatever I want. Very nice, kind, everything. Beautiful. Just has it all — that's the ideal wife."  Jim had a great response with "Gronk, who's gonna sign up for that s&%t?"  No surprise, a ton of women in the audience raised their hand.

Ok, nice and kind are certainly qualities that everyone wants...but how does one 'make big cash' and 'stay home' at the same time?  I, along with millions of others, would love to know!

I'm sure with Gronk's status and bank account, he can certainly find a lady that fits his description, but that's not what long-lasting, happy, fulfilling relationships are all about, right?

I remember when I was a teenager, all I hoped for was to marry someone who was 'hot'. Of course, over time I learned that sometimes the hot guys aren't the nicest guys. I also learned that there is so much more than looks that goes into a happy relationship and ultimately, a happy marriage. I'm sure Gronk will get to a point where he understands that too. Then again, everyone is different and what has worked for me, may not be what works for him.

His response has upset some women, and understandably so. It didn't upset me though, I think maybe he was not entirely serious, and you know what, even if he is, to each their own. I hope he finds what he's looking for!
