Great Fish Tacos Found On The Southcoast

Just when you thought you had to settle for a plain old fish plate during this season of lent, you certainly do not.

If you haven’t yet had the pure pleasure of enjoying fish tacos, you don’t know what you are missing! Give it a try this or any Friday in March during lent and I bet you’ll be hooked. And if you are someone who already loves fish tacos, here are a bunch of great local restaurants that have excellent fish tacos.

Too kick of the list it wouldn’t even be a list of the best if I didn’t include Frontera Grille in Fairhaven. These guys get it right every single time and they have 4 different fish taco entrées on their menu to choose from. It’s a very authentic Mexican restaurant and the staff is exceptional. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!

Tequila Lime Cantina Restaurant in Fall River has an awesome menu of delish Mexican dishes and their fish tacos are simply amazing! They are no fuss with offering just one “fish” taco and it comes with everything you want on it…or not. Fresh fish wrapped in a soft heated or crunchy taco and you’re good to go!

Brewfish in Marion features a “daily catch” for their fish tacos every Tuesday and of course their crispy haddock tacos are served daily. So for the catch of the day taco; one week it might be tilapia, another week could bring cod and another could be salmon. They are ALL amazing!

Our Southcoast 99 Restaurants will surely surprise you if you haven’t yet tried their fish tacos, they are very good. Again, you can ask for them to be mostly fish but you can also get them with the works. Their fish is local and fresh, just how we like it!

The new El Mariachi in Wareham and their fish tacos are to DIE for…soooo good! Straight up grilled cod with all the fixings. Great atmosphere too, love this place!

Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in Somerset is another great establishment with rave reviews on their entire menu and they spotlight excellent fish tacos.
