Governor Patrick Says “Stay Off Roads After 4, Or Else”

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has declared a state of emergency here in the commonwealth.

He has also signed an executive order to ban ALL motor vehicle travel in the state starting at 4pm today. There are some exceptions to the ban, including emergency workers, those who work in hospitals, for the media, and others who are required to be at their jobs.

Governor Patrick says those who violate the motor vehicle ban could face fines and even jail.
