Daylight savings time is here again and it's time to 'Fall Back' this weekend.

Lots of people hate the fall daylight savings time as it really marks the end of the longer days and the start of a dark, cold winter to come.

But whether we want it or not, this Sunday morning November 4th the clocks are going back an hour and the days will get darker much earlier.

Honestly, I am on board with it. As a mom of a toddler, the extra daylight hours of summer can often lead to bedtime battles that never feel like a win for anyone.

At least with things getting dark around 5 - 5:30 p.m. I'll hopefully have more of a leg to stand on when I want things to start winding down.

And added bonus for the early risers, it'll be lighter earlier as well making those 6 a.m. wake up calls a bit less terrible too.

Even though there has been plenty of 'abolish daylight savings time' talk in recent years, nothing has changed yet.

And that means you still have to change your clocks back at 2 a.m. this Sunday November 4th to reflect the new earlier hour.
