From Rosemary Heath:

"George loved teaching!  It was definitely the time of his life when he enjoyed every minute.

George and I stood side-by-side when a madman came into Bertucci's in Taunton MA on May 10th. The madman was stabbing a young pregnant waitress and we intervened to save her and her unborn child.

George wrestled with the madman and was fatally stabbed in the process. George LOVED superheroes - especially BATMAN - he was a real life Batman on this day!

This scholarship will benefit seniors that are in visual design at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School in continuing education as well as any senior in the school who puts others first! Those continuing the everyday 'Superhero' that George was.

Please consider donating an item to raffle or a higher valued item for silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the GHS Scholarship Fund."

Saturday, November 26th, at the Bertucci’s Silver City Galleria Mall in Taunton
