This Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., there will be a fundraiser remembering George Heath's life at Greasy Luck in New Bedford.

George Heath gave his life on May 10, 2016. Because of his death, many others are now able to live. George was dining with his wife at a restaurant in Taunton, when a crazed man with a knife entered the restaurant in a fit of rage. George put himself between the violent man and his pregnant waitress, saving her life as he himself died as a true hero.

This fundraiser is in remembrance of his life and is open to the public. It supports the Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical Educational Foundation. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the students.

Craig DeMelo and I will be hosting the fundraiser in The Vault.

All donations are appreciated. You can contact George's wife at rosemarykheath@gmail.com for more information.
