Gabourey Sidibe’s Amazing Response To Criticism

It happens to all of us at some point...someone says something nasty about us and we find out.  Ouch.

Gabourey Sidibe (starred in 'Precious' & currently stars in 'American Horror Story: Coven') responded by basically telling the haters to keep on hatin'.   The confidence this girl has is inspiring, it's amazing, it's beautiful and it makes me want to hug her and be her friend!  I remember reading a story about her recently, asking her where she got her confidence from.  She said from the inside...she said one day she just decided she was going to love herself and be confident in who she is, and that's what she did!  She is an inspiration to me, and probably to many other women as well!

So the recent criticism she responded to is about the dress she wore to the Golden Globes this past Sunday.  It was a cream colored, somewhat form fitting, shimmery dress, and the nasty comments some people were posting online were that the dress made her "look like the chubby ghost from Casper."

Her response?  "To people making mean comments about my GG (Golden Globes) pics, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night. #JK"

I love it!  Personally, I think she's beautiful, and I say, keep on rockin' whatever dress you want to girlfriend!
