Now that's a sight you don't see in Downtown New Bedford every day.  The rain didn't stop more than 1,600 runners from dressing up as jolly old St. Nick and taking to the streets of New Bedford.  Fun 107 hosted the "Fun Run" from our stage in front of New Bedford City Hall, playing Christmas favorites as the runners stretched out and took their place at the starting line. After the starting gun fired, the sounds of Chuck Berry Berry's "Run Rudolph Run" could be heard up and down Pleasant Street.

Ironically, just as some of the final runners crossed the finish line, the sun decided to make an appearance!

All proceeds from the fun benefit the Southcoast Health System’s Cardiac Prevention Program.
