It took Ariel and Belle decades to get their own themed ride at a Disney park, but after the massive success of Frozen, Anna and Elsa won't be waiting nearly as long.

Disney has announced that Frozen is getting its own attraction at Disney World in Florida. Thomas O. Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, revealed the big news on the Disney blog Friday writing,

I'm pleased to say that we're starting construction at Walt Disney World Resort on a brand new Frozen attraction at the Norway Pavilion in Epcot,"

If you have been to Epcot before than you know this means the Maelstrom ride is going to go away and the Frozen adventure will begin construction. Maelstrom is a water ride that takes riders through geographical and mythological highlights of Norway. It first opened in 1988 and will make its final voyage on October 5th.

The Frozen ride (though I'm sure they'll have a better name for it than that) will take riders through Arendelle and "immerse them in many of their favorite moments and music from the film" according to Staggs blog.

Fans can expect this Frozen themed ride to open at Epcot by early 2016.
