Free Acushnet Creamery Sundaes To Benefit Dartmouth’s Wilcox Family

On Saturday December 2nd, 2017 Acushnet Creamery will be giving away FREE small vanilla sundaes to benefit Fun 107's Holiday Wish Family #5...the Wilcox Family from Dartmouth.

The Wilcox family has been struggling with the debt of medical bills since two of their three children have been diagnosed with heart defects. Their 20 month old daughter, Zoey, has spent countless nights at Boston Children's Hospital.  Zoey's mother, Renee, tells Fun 107:

When your child's life could end at any point it's hard to decide which parent should get to be there for their last moments. Although the hospital is only about an hour and a half away, if something were to happen even seconds make a difference.  There have been many times where we have been told that there was nothing else they could do and we had to prepare to make decisions no parent should have to make for their child.

After hearing the Wilcox family's story on Fun 107, Doug and Donna Coray decided to organize an impromptu, ice cream fundraiser.  The event will run all day Saturday from 12-8.  Every penny of the donations will go directly to supporting the Wilcox family.

What an easy way to help out a Dartmouth family in need!
