It wasn’t crystal meth or heroin that was seized from this woman by police in Fall River last week…

According to The Herald News, Michelle F. Rodrigues who lives on North Main Street in Fall River was met with search warrants obtained by city detectives.

Officers discovered and confiscated close to 50 pill bars of the anti-anxiety medication, Alprazolam. These are known as “zany bars” on the street. Police say they also seized a dozen Percocet pills along with $100 in cash from her bag.

Fall River detectives had been investigating Rodrigues for some time and believe she was planning to distribute. She was arrested and charged with possession to distribute both class B and Class E drugs. She is free on bail and due back in court on April 25th.
