(Irving, TX) -- Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn is dead following a car crash in North Texas. Irving police say the 43-year-old died early this morning after the collision. According to police, the car veered out of its lane and crashed into a concrete barrier, ejecting Glenn, who was the driver. An unidentified passenger suffered minor injuries. Glenn played eleven seasons in the NFL with stops in New England, Green Bay and Dallas. He played college ball at Ohio State and was the seventh overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft.

Glenn caught Tom Brady's first-ever touchdown pass in 2001 and earned a Pro Bowl bid with the Patriots in 1999. His career ended in 2008 due to issues with his right knee. He is survived by three children.
