Football and Emmys on the same night! I caught a little bit of both. Not sure why they would do that on a Sunday Night in a football loving country such as this.

I sometime wonder the mentality of these people that run the TV networks in this country.  I mean clearly, football dominates on Sunday, especially in New England. A huge part of the countries population.  The Patriots are playing, going up against the ravens and fake refs, the whole country watching, referring to Rock's earlier post. Talk about drama, Bill Belichick almost knocked one of those refs out at the end of the game!

On ABC The 64th Emmy Awards ceremony hosted by Jimmy Kimmel earned a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating, down from last year's 4.2 (final) rating. The Emmys Red Carpet Live Special preceding the awards show earned a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating at 8PM.

On NBC , Sunday Night Football (Patriots/Ravens)  at 8:30-11:00PM earned a 8.1 adults 18-49  rating, down from last week's 8.9 18-49 rating, but the best "week 3" game ratings in four years and the second best week 3 prime time game since 1997.
