Five Places On The Southcoast You Can Still Get Ice Cream
With some unseasonably warm weather on the Southcoast the next few days, you may start craving some ice cream. And there are still plenty of places serving your favorite frozen deliciousness!
- 1
Country Whip in Acushnet
This seasonal hot spot is still open through mid-November! Which means as it warms up this week you can cool off with a cone of soft serve (made in house!), farm fresh ice cream or even frozen yogurt, gluten-free and sugar-free options.
- 2
Kool Kone in Wareham
Along with their delicious ice cream, Kool Kone's Dolphin Cove mini golf is still open as well. Making it a perfect family spot for a warm after school afternoon!
- 3
Gray's Ice Cream in Tiverton
You gotta love that this legendary ice cream shop is open all...year...long! No matter what the weather, if you want a tasty frozen treat, they've got you covered!
- 4
Somerset Creamery in Somerset
Though the Cataumet and County Street locations are closed for the season already, the Route 6 Somerset Creamery is still ready to serve you the homemade ice cream they've been making for almost 80 years! And they have a new flavor for fall, Indian Pudding made with molasses, pumpkin pie spices and cornmeal.
- 5
Acushnet Creamery in Acushnet
The Dockside Ice Cream closed this past weekend, but luckily the Main St location is going strong through mid-December! That means plenty of time to enjoy their Lazy Cow Ice Cream in so many amazing flavors.
