Five people were arrested in Wareham Wednesday for outstanding warrants.

Police Chief Kevin Walsh says three of the suspects were arrested at the Rosewood Motel on Cranberry Hwy and are identfied as: 67-year old Robert Murphy, who had six outstanding felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants issued by Malden and Somerville District Courts; 31-year-old Dawn Curry of Hyannis who had one outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant (A&B) issued by Wareham District Court; and 28-year-old Reva Cowette who had outstanding default warrant issued by Haverhill District Court.

The two remaining suspects, identified as 51-year-old Joseph Donovan and 39-year-old Michael Medeiros were arrested at residences in East Wareham.

Donovan was being sought for a default warrant (misdemeanor) issued by Wareham District Court and Medeiros had a warrant for a probation violation issued by Wareham District Court.

The suspects were taken to Wareham District Court for arraignment on Wednesday.

Walsh says the arrests were conducted by officers and detectives of the Wareham Police Department, along with members of the Mass. State Police VFAS Unit and Mass. Parole officers.
