Fitness Center Moves to Mattapoisett

Personal training center, Boutique Fitness, is getting ready to expand its horizons.

The downtown New Bedford-based fitness center, Boutique Fitness, is opening up a new, additional location in Mattapoisett's Ropewalk plaza.

After being approached by those involved with the Ropewalk plaza, co-owners Lara Harrington and Angela Correiri-Johnson agreed to make the expansion to better serve their clients in the Tri-Town area.

After it opens in October, the new 950 square-foot space will offer training sessions for groups up to four people.

Boutique Fitness began in 2012 and is now a thriving business in downtown New Bedford.
