Feel Good Moment: Fall River Boy Becomes a Police Officer for a Day
Maybe you remember our first story about Fall River resident Jordan Ortiz? He was the honorary construction worker back in October of last year. Well, his mom, Bibi Rivera, shared even more great news about the now eight-year-old boy with Spina Bifida. The Fall River Police Department made his dream of becoming a police officer come true! At least for today, anyway. Officer Deborah Jackson gave him his own uniform, shirt, cop belt, and hat.
How awesome is that?! I, for one, could not stop smiling after seeing this photo and the good news just keeps coming. Jordan will be featured in the news later tonight!
"For the ones that wanted to know why the camera and a small crowd was at the police department, it was because they made my son Jordan cop of the day. Will be on channel 12 news tonight."
Catch Jordan at 5 and 6:45 on Channel 12 on Thursday, June 21.
