FBI Combing New Bedford Landfill For Boston Bombing Evidence

Federal investigators in are searching the Crapo landfill in New Bedford for evidence in the Boston Marathon bombings. 

Suspect Dzhokhar Tsamaev was a student at Umass Dartmouth, and trash from the campus is taken to the landfill.   Over the weekend, a large pyrotechnic and BB pellets were found in his dorm room.

Many of the victims were struck with shrapnel that included BBs.  Tsamaev was seen on the campus after the bombings.   He is now in a Boston hospital being treated for injuries he suffered while escaping from police.
