Fatal Shooting At New Bedford Park

New Bedford Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened overnight.

Authorities notified WPRI that a male victim was fatally shot just before midnight on Thursday at Harrington Park. The park is located across the street from the Ellen R. Hathaway Elementary School.

So far, no information has been released about the victim or suspects in the case.

Additional details into the investigation will be released later today by the New Bedford Police Department.
