Petty Officer Third Class Anthony Marsiglia is deployed on the USS Enterprise and is coming home soon, and his daughter is VERY anxious to see him.

His family made his a welcome sign and hung it outside their Louisiana home. Then, they received a letter from the homeowners association that they had 30 days to take it down.

The homeowners association didn't give much of an explanation as to why they had to take it down.  The only mention in the rules for signs is about size requirements, and the family’s sign is within the guidelines.

The action has of course sparked outrage, especially among veterans, and understandably so.

The hope is a resolution will be reached.
