Fall River Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

FALL RIVER — Fall River Police are searching for a suspect in the robbery of a convenience store.

On January 30th, 2018 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Officers Tyler Andrade of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division responded to Hartwell Quick Stop, located at 350 Rodman Street, in regards to an armed robbery.

On arrival, the 54-year-old clerk stated that a black male with a goatee wearing a green jacket entered the store complaining about being charged twice on his credit card. The clerk told officers that he told the male to report the issue to his credit card company. The clerk then left the register to retrieve an item for the next customer. When the clerk left the register, the male reached over the counter, and grabbed cash from beside the register.

The male fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash, headed south on Hartwell Street.
