Fall River Gal Makes It Big In Hollywood

Mindy Robinson grew up in Fall River dreaming that someday she would become an actress and be in the movies.  Sounds like a fairy tale doesn't it?

The Fall River Herald says her next big movie has a closer to home connection than you would have thought.

Mindy has been in roughly 150 TV shows and films and her next movie is titled, Range 15 and was created and produced by a Somerset native, Nick Palmisciano.  She is one of the two lead actresses in the action film which is set to premiere nationwide June 15th.

Mindy told the Herald News upon finding out that Nick is from her neighboring hometown, "We literally grew up across the river from each other and I went to Bristol Aggie, so I probably drove by his house every day.”  It was when she and Nick became friends on Facebook that they realized they are both from the Southcoast.

The film, Range 15 is about veterans overcoming a zombie apocalypse and also stars William Shatner, Danny Trejo and actress Jessica Wiseman.  Robbinson's longtime boyfriend, UFC champion and actor, Randy Couture is also featured in the movie.
