Sadly, four people in Fall River are now without a home after a fire started on the second floor today.

WPRI reports, a home on Pockross Street caught fire this Memorial Day Monday with one woman inside who safely made it out and was able to call 911.

The FRFD were able to put out the fire in just about an hours time.  The district fire chief says the fire started on the second floor of the home.

The Red Cross are helping the individuals who lived in the home and are now displaced. Thankfully, there were no injuries and the two cats that were in the basement are believed to have made it out of the home safely.

The fire is under investigation.
