Dunkin’ Donuts was robbed for the second time in a little more than a week.

Two female clerks at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 325 Elsbree St. called for help at 8:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Fall River police reported.

The clerks, ages 19 and 48, told Officer Joseph Kubicek that two men entered the store, one armed with a knife. The men walked behind the counter and ordered the women to open the registers.

Those robbers were described as white men, around 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

No clerks were injured in either robbery, police reported.

In both cases, detectives scoured the neighborhoods around the Dunkin’ Donuts stores, searching for surveillance cameras that might give them a picture of the robbers.

No pictures have been released to the public from the March 2 robbery. Detectives are still searching for good pictures from the robbery on Tuesday, Costa said.

Anyone with information about the robbery on Tuesday is asked to call Detective Dwaine Cabeceiras. Detective John McDonald is the lead investigator on the March 2 robbery. The detectives’ number is (508) 324-2796.
