Fall River Cop Hit By Car That Sped-Off After Traffic Stop

A Fall River Police officer was not hurt when he was swiped by a car during a stop on Rodman Street Sunday night.  The officer had the car stopped and jumped back when it took off.  The police report says he was hit by the car but not injured.

The car disappeared very quickly.  There were several officers near Rodman and Warren Streets at the time, and they began searching the area.  Fall River Police are continuing their investigation.
