The suspect in the murder of Gayle Botelho of Fall River 25 years ago is set to return to Massachusetts.  47-year-old Daniel Tavares is now serving a life sentence in the state of Washington for the murder of his mother and an young married couple.

Botelho was reported missing in 1988, and 12 years later Tavares led investigators to her remains.   Her body was found buried in the backyard of a home in Fall River where Tavares had lived.  

Tavares will be in Fall River Superior Court next Monday.   He is expected to plead guilty.
