After it was mandated that the two wind turbines in Fairhaven be turned off between the hours of 7pm-7am, it looks like they will stay on.

WBSM reports that after that despite many reports of noise complaints surrounding the turbines, they are going to be running around the clock until further notice.

The turbine manager released a statement from Fairhaven Wind saying that after Tuesday's Fairhaven Board of Health meeting, the turbines will stay on until both sides can reach an 'acceptable' compromise.

The board of health meeting failed to reach a consensus on the noise issues surrounding the two turbines, prompting Fairhaven Wind to keep them running.
