A big vote today by the Fairhaven Board of Health and the town's selectmen.  Fairhaven's two wind turbines will be shutdown between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The selectmen voted to notify Fairhaven Wind LLC that the turbines were not in compliance because of noise issues.   Board of Health chairman Peter DeTerra said he made the motion to shut down the turbines at night because of the many complaints about the noise.
