Fairhaven’s Gil Santos To Be Inducted Into Patriots Hall of Fame

Former Patriots play by play announcer Gil Santos will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on August 11th. The Fairhaven High School grad will share the honor with former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi. Before his retirement, Gil Santos had been the Patriots announcer for 37 years...the longest tenured announcer in the NFL. Santos was born in Acushnet and raised in Fairhaven. Early in his career, Santos was a sports anchor on Fun 107's sister station, WBSM.
