Fairhaven Hit And Run

Fairhaven Police say there was a hit and run on Monday afternoon at the intersection of Bridge Street and Green Street.  A woman was hit by a black Jeep Cherokee.  Witnesses say that the Cherokee was a "square type model" that lifts off the ground with oversized tires.

Police say after the Cherokee ran over the woman, the driver left her lying on the ground with significant injuries.
